Josh has been the saxophone player in The New Originals since 1998. He has been playing in the Sacramento area since 1990. Josh grew up in New York City where he studied saxophone under Daniel Wilensky and David Mann. He attended the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, studying with Reggie Workman, Jimmy Cobb, Ira Gitler, Joann Brackeen, and others. Josh's performing credits include shows with Phil Woods, Jimmy Smith, Peter Erskine and the Drifters. He has a Bachelor's Degree in History from UC Davis and a Masters in Education from Chapman University.
